The final scope, price, timeline, and rights are confirmed in writing for each commission. Here's the short version; tap any point for the detail.
Every commission starts with a written brief, reference review, and quote. A slot is reserved once the brief and initial payment have been accepted.
The initial deposit is due before work begins. The remaining balance is due before the final high-resolution files are delivered. The exact amount and payment schedule are confirmed in the written quote.
Each package includes the revision rounds shown on its price card. Revisions adjust the agreed brief; a substantially new direction may require a new quote. Extra revisions are agreed before they are carried out.
Turnaround estimates begin after the brief, references, deposit, and any required approvals are received. Delays caused by missing feedback or late materials may move the delivery date; any material change will be discussed promptly.
Standard pricing includes personal use only. Copyright remains with the artist unless a different written agreement is made. The client may not resell, sublicense, or materially alter the artwork without permission.
Commercial, promotional, resale, merchandise, and other business use is not included in standard pricing. Commercial licensing is quoted separately according to the requested use, audience, territory, duration, and quantity.
If either party needs to cancel, any refund is handled fairly with regard to work completed and agreed costs. Once work has started, the initial deposit is not refundable. If the artist cancels before delivery, any unearned amount will be returned. Applicable consumer rights are not excluded or reduced.
Clients must have permission to share reference material and must tell the artist about any usage restrictions. The artist may decline a brief that requires copying another living artist's distinctive style.
Completed work may be shown in the artist's portfolio unless confidentiality is agreed in writing before work begins.
